Parkdale Farm Stand with Broxburn Vegetables

Parkdale is excited to take part in the City of Calgary Farm Stand Program which aims to improve access to healthy and environmentally friendly food options for Calgarians while simultaneously providing local and regional food producers with more places to sell food in the city. This year we are fortunate to host Broxburn Vegetables who has been a part of the Farm Stand Program for over 5 years, and part of Calgary’s local food scene for even longer. Under new ownership in 2025, Brody and Mona Wauters grow a variety of vegetables in both fields and greenhouses near Lethbridge, Alberta. In addition to their fresh produce (such as tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, cauliflower, lettuce etc.), they also often stock locally made pies, eggs, cheese, yogurt, and more.
