Most residents have likely heard that Parkdale—along with Montgomery, Point McKay, and West Hillhurst—is currently under a boil water advisory. If you haven’t yet seen the full details, please check the map of affected areas using the link provided above.

Please ensure you’re following all recommended precautions and share this information with neighbours who may not be aware.

RINK UPDATE:

Our outdoor rink is included in the restricted water use category under the Stage 4 water restrictions currently in place. Unfortunately, this means we are not permitted to flood the ice.

We will be doing a dry scrape tonight to smooth the surface as much as possible. The rink will open tomorrow, and after that we will reassess the ice conditions regularly to ensure it remains safe for use.

Please be aware that we may need to close the rink at any time if we determine the ice is no longer safe. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
