NOTICE OF THE RESOLUTION FOR AMENDMENT OF THE BYLAWS

4.2.1 The membership year is from February 1 to January 31.

Rationale: The Board believes a rolling membership model provides flexibility for community members to join whenever they are ready, rather than waiting for a specific start date.

4.3.1 Each adult Family Member, Individual Member and Senior Member, while in good standing, (each a “Voting Member”) has the right to vote at General Meetings of PCA. 

4.3.1 EachA maximum of two adult Family Members, Individual Members and/or Senior Members per household, while in good standing, (each a “Voting Member”) hashave the right to vote at General Meetings of PCA.

Rationale: With the Board proposing to allow voting by proxy, it believes it necessary to limit votes per household to two.

4.3.3 A Member is in good standing when: (a) the Member has been a Member for at least 30 days. 

4.3.3 A Member is in good standing when: (a) the Member has been a Member for at least 3014 days. 

4.3.3 A Member is in good standing when: (a) the Member has been a Member for at least 14 days. 

Rationale: The Board believes relaxing voting requirements enables increased participation.

5.4.3 Voting members may not vote by proxy.

Rationale: The Board believes allowing members in good standing to vote for other members increases flexibility and inclusivity.
